Lesson Program  

Our main focus is classical hunt seat equitation, focusing primarily on hunters, jumpers, and equitation. We operate as a team with varying different strengths. Our team consists of six different trainers and instructors who are available to meet your different needs.

While our base is in classical riding, we keep up with the times and further our knowledge to ensure we always offer the best form and methods of training to our clients. 

The facility has three indoor arenas and one large outdoor arena to ensure we separate beginners from advanced riders to keep the riding arena a safe place.  

• Riders as young as five may begin lead line lessons

• Lesson cards are available

PRICES:

• 1/2 hour private lesson: $65

• 1 hour private lesson: $130

WE ENCOURAGE LESSONING 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK TO ENCOURAGE QUICKER GROWTH.

FREEDOM WOODS, INC. OFFERS a small SELECTION OF SHARE-BOARD AND HALF-LEASE HORSES. THESE HORSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR CLIENTS WHO WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP BUT ARE NOT READY TO MAKE THE TRANSITION INTO OWNING OR AN ANNUAL LEASE.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR YOUR FIRST LESSON: 

• Plan on coming to your lesson 10-15 minutes early so you have ample time to check in and meet your instructor

• Fill out our liability form before your lesson. You can print and fill it out at home. We also have forms at the desk if you would like to fill it out at the barn before your lesson.

• Closed toed shoes, preferably with a small heel. No sandals. 

• Jeans or leggings are acceptable, no shorts please.  

• Approved helmets are available for you to borrow  

• We only accept cash and check
