Our Vision
Freedom Woods was named decades ago as a place to find contentment and peacefulness in a natural wooded setting in the presence of horses. A place to develop skills and personal growth.
Horses are fairly simple and embody the idea of freedom. They need to be understood and supported – just like we do. This freedom belongs to everyone – freedom to have a voice, to be accepted and included. Horses can teach us so much about ourselves and others.

For our students, to have an environment where they grow and excel, with a community that they can have fun and feel safe.
For our horses, to receive the best care through and through. To diligently pay attention to all of the details in their programs. To continuously adapt their programs to fit each horse’s individual needs.
For our team members, to encourage and offer them opportunities to grow as professionals. To support continued education and knowledge to help them meet their individual riding and training goals.
