Freedom Woods competes primarily at A and AA horse shows. Our stable competes an average of twice a month, December through October. Competition season begins in December, we generally spend half the winter competing locally in Illinois and the other half in Wellington, FL. Through the Spring and Summer months we generally spend most of our months at shows in Illinois, since we are lucky to have the beautiful facilities of Lamplight and Ledges Sporting Horses near by. Other than Florida, we generally show out of state three to four times a year. In October, we compete at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show and Washington International Horse Show.

At Freedom Woods we understand that clients have different budgets and goals for this sport. We do not expect or require you to go to every show. If you have questions or would like to know more about horse showing with Freedom Woods please call the barn at (847) 967-9800 and leave a detailed message for Ashleen or email us.
